Now - this might be final - we are back in the North of Germany.
We have bought a house - first time in my life - and I feel like "Spiesser" which is a nasty German word for someone who gets settled into everything - no adventures anymore - retirement comes soon.
Nontheless - the place is great and peachful. There is a big garden with a pond and and birds. Great place - until you need to cut the lawn ...
House is spacious. Fully made from wood, with a fire place and a great new kitchen. We love it. In the meantime also a Carport made it on the premises. Well, in wintertime this is a real benefit..
Sievershütten is a little village (that might be too big word for it) with roughly 2.000 souls living there. There is good infrastructure, pub, shop, barber, dentist, Schlecker - what else do we need ?
We like it here - people are friendly and care for each other in the positive way. Our neighbourhood is lovely - what can we expect more ?
Only the current winter is really a difficult time. Roads are not cleared - so travel to the office takes me 2,5 hours instead of 50 minutes. So the home office is becoming a time saver!
